Oh yeah, anyone have a favorite brand, and why?

well i just noticed yesterday my afterworkout protein powder hs creatine in it but i havnt noticed any particulary sideeffects.

ive heard when you take creatine for extended periods of time, your body stops making as much of it, or just stops making it at all. so when you stop using creatine...then...your workout wont be as good i guess.

yeah i heard that too.. it's like a creatine low after the high.. but i also heard that when you want to stop you can take 2 grams a day for a month, and your body will begin producing it again..

i've been using creatine off and on since 1995. i really only use it when i'm training for size because with it you are able to crank out a few more reps then normal. read up on TUT (time under tension) and you'll see that this can make a big difference granted everything else is clicking (nutrition, recovery, etc)

so by itself, you wont notice much. funny how the supplement companies fail to mention that. :(

whatever brand you buy, make sure there is a creapure logo somewhere on the label. i use prolab myself. :)

I take 5g of Prolab with my PWO shake every day. No negative side effects noticed with this creatine.

I like Prolab because I don't notice the excess sugary burn (if you've had MuscleTech you know what I'm talkin about) and I don't seem to retain as much water.

I take TRAC creatine and I love it. I definately feel stronger. No bad side effects. I took EAS creatine before and I was so bloated and held so much water that I could not pull my pants up!

what are the advantages of taking a brand name creatine like EAS, CellTech, TRAC, Prolab or anything like that, over taking creatine monohydrate? i mean i know that they have sugar to help move the creatine, but i could eat somthing with sugar and enjoy it more!

you got it. i get plain ole creatine with a big tub of dextrose from supplement direct. but celltech, phosphagen hp have added dextrose to boost insulin to help transport creatine.

thanx abear for clearing that up.. ill stick with the monohydrate and that occasional sugar loaded snack that we all long for lol

dont take creatine tkae (dam spelling!). its just like normal creatin but you absorb more of it (liek 99 percent) and it doesnt give you stomache pain

smells like crap to me.. i've never heard of this before and creatine has been around for over 10 years..

what it is is buffered creatine so its normal creatine with a buffer so that it doesnt turn into creatinide. i usally dont take stuff without knowing about it first .normal creatine turns into creatinide when it mixes with ur stomach acid and thats what gives some ppl stomach pain when they take it

this stuff doesnt give me stomach pain like creatine used to and it doesnt dehydrate me either so i just take it instead

I had a quick question about the loading process, How much creatine is needed for this? Directions say 20g a day, too much?

Thanks.

I cycle Creatine (Twin Labs Fuel Stack...also contains L-Glutamine and Taurine) to counteract the diminishing effects. Three months on two month off (approx).

I also do not load Creatine. I believe in the statement: “Why load when it is already present in you body?” I have tried cycles both with loading and not loading, and I have not noticed any difference at all.

I do drink an ungodly amount of water all the time.

I take 3500-4000 mg (depending on if it is a weight day or not) a day for three months...and than I go cold turkey for two months. I guess I could ween myself off the creatine gradually, but I have not felt any side effects with this method and each time I restart the cycle I see the same positive effects.

Again...I have tried other dosages and schedules and I like this one the best.
