Dirty Bulking example

This was on a blog I read a while back. Look at how went from 143lbs to 202lbs. If that shocks you, he planned to continue to 220lbs.
 
Is he proud of that? Looks like doo doo.
 
Yeah I saw that some time ago, doesn't look like he put on a lot of muscle..
the amount of weight he put on was over 1 year and 5 months, so it's not that much when you think about it that way, he must have done something very wrong for so much of it to have been fat.
 
That thread is infamous.

To put it short.

1. Guy bulked with a crappy routine and ate 5 microwave ready meals a day ( tons of carbs and sodium )

2. He learned from his mistake, and is in the process of cutting and losing all the weight he gained.
 
The double chin should given him a clue that he wasn't doing much right

It shows what a crappy forum that is by the lack of comment on his diet
 
LMAO, people are harsh over there, but damn it took that guy 17 months to figure out something wasn't quite right?

Worse than that, he actually thought he was doing well until he got shot down. Some of the early responses where even congratulating him

Whole chickens, Rump steaks, Weetbix and occasionally cheat meals.
Actually he did some serious overeating. Look at his first meal alone 7 weetabix, 2 eggs and a glass of milk? Continental chicken is tasty but not 7 or 8 times a day. There's probably 4000-5000 cals in there. A sumo wrestler would have been proud of that.
 
4-5k cals is nothing :p I eat 4k on a bulk. Not saying that he wasn't overeating, he definately was overeating, but overeating is in comparison with your metabolism.
What I'm saying is, I don't think a sumo wrsetler would be proud of 4-5k cals..
