Diablo III !!!

Diablo III has been announced. As of june 28, but I guess I'm behind.

Anyway, for those of you who don't know, diablo II was one of the most epic of action-roleplaying games ever made. In fact, despite it being about 10 years old, the battle chest still sells for 40 bucks at walmart.

Anyone else really excited?

I hope my PC can run it! I just reinstalled D2! So many memories, I played for like 3-5 years back in the day.
 
really, is neverwinter nights 2 any good? there were alot of glitches with the first one if I remember.

btw, did you ever play WoW? because girls that play WoW are even cooler than girls that play Diablo (btw, i say girls in reference to all members of the female gender regardless of age, so, i'm not saying you're like a kid or anything)

WTF is this bull**** with people saying diablo is a role playing game :yelrotflmao: Diablo is a hack and slash dnd game...a role playing game is a game where you have choices and can choose what you want to do and it will have an effect ultimately in the end of the game. In Diablo you just kill monsters...

I will list you some "epic role playing games"

Fallout 1 and 2
Balder's gate 1 and 2
never winter knights 1 and 2
Star wars knights of the old republic 1 and 2
Ice wind dale 1 and 2
 
lol, sorry, didn't think anyone would flip out about it.


It's just listed as a roleplaying game, and I figured, wtf, I guess I do choose a role.
 
yeah it has its moments but i just think they shouldent put it in the rpg genre. Games similar to it are dungeon siege and hell gate London which is a futuristic version of diablo in first person view with guns made by the same developers that made diablo 2.
 
You can say what you want about diablo being hack and slash, but it's not just mindless hack and slash. unless you're a zealot. You gotta develop strategies, find out what char builds work, etc. that's the fun part
 
btw, should i get elder scrolls IV for PC or xbox? and is it worth the investment?
