Day 1 Staying focused

That sounds really tough, having to work with the torn ligament, and not able to walk around at intervals as you usually do. I'm stymied, because my usual go-to for healing is rest, and it sound like you can't. Best wishes, and for a restful, healing weekend.

I haven't wrote in my dairy in a while, but all is well. I had to refocus my mind about weight loss, exercising and pain. It appears that I am constantly dealing with challenges due to the constant pain and lack of will power. Last week, Friday when I weighed myself I was actually weighed 262, which was a bit frustrating. Nevertheless, I still knew it was due to my inability to maintain 1200 calories.

Anyway, I regrouped and today I am at 256.4. The 256.4 is without exercise, but with colon cleansing. I actually started back exercising today. I was only able to exercise in the water for 30 minutes due to the leg pain and fatigue, but it's progress. I know it will probably take a few more weeks for my leg to fully heal, but I am so glad I was able to exercise. I don't know about anyone else, but I can truly tell the difference physically and mentally when I don't exercise.
 
Hi, Shell. I'm glad you have had a refocus & got into the pool. I see the difference mentally for sure when I don't exercise every day & I am also a bit stiffer & less agile. Exercise is very important for our overall health I think & it motivates me to eat better.
 
Exercise really helps me and I love running. My cognition improves along with my mood and motivation and my appetite decreases. Great that you're able to exercise again.
 
Hey Shell, 30 min of exercise in the water is better than what I did today.

Do you think you can do the 1,200 calorie day tomorrow? I think you can.

Keep at it, you are winning the battle!
 
Hi, Shell - good to hear from you! And 256.4 - that's two pounds down so far this month, I think? Pretty good going! :D Maybe four (or more?) by the end of the month?
