My sister has the same problem as you. She has good intentions, then work gets hectic, or she has to go to a conference and stay in hotel for a couple of nights, or they are celebrating someone's birthday .... then suddenly she realises that she hasn't been watching her diet for a while. I know you can get back on the wagon now, and get back into the swing of it. Straying doesn't do much damage .... its staying away that does ;)
 
Well help ya get back on track. You know It's good that you are frustrated with how this week has gone because it is an indication that you just don't want to give up. You could have said that you are going to start fresh on monday but you chose Saturday to start which is also another good sign.
I know I would have probably used the week of dinning out as excuse to get in a couple of more McDonald's and DQ visits before Monday. So you have the will to get back on track. Hopefully the stress level at work subsides long enough for you to get back into the swing of things!

In the mean time Have a super weekend! Try and get out for a nice long walk.
 
Good to see you on here again! I know it can get frustrating when your busy- but just try to get through it and make the healthiest choices possible with all that eating out.

And glad to hear you've gotten right back on track. Good mindset. I had a similar week with business colleagues in town. And this eating out all the time gets on my nerves!!!!!

I think I had the same problem as you last week when my friend came to visit. Not writing in my diary meant I wasn't keeping tabs on what I was eating and looking back I realise I totally messed up.:rolleyes: At least you'll be able to get back on track soon though eh!;)

Good for you for taking control again :D It is so hard with a hectic schedule, but when it gets like that for me, I have to remind myself that my approach to food is what has to change in the long run. I have to make better choices, even if it means just cutting back on the portions during hectic times. Life will always have it's hectic times, so we have to learn how to work with it.

I'm glad to hear you've got the right attitude and spirit about things. I know how things can be when a whole week is just eating out, no exercising and parties and stuff. But I'm so happy to hear that you're back and ready to rock. Good for you!
