Cowboys vs Bills

We def. needed the win cuz it will be a tough game next week. If (when) we lose it should be to someone like the Patriots not Buffalo!!

I haven't seen much of Buff this year, but I hear Losman is coming into his own. Is it possible Buff is one of those teams that if they just get one or two big wins, surprises everyone?? Or are they in the "write this year off, we're rebuilding" phase?

I think anything is possible.. however, their offense didn't do much with the ball. it was their defense with the help of Romo lol.

i think Dallas came in too confident and Sunday's game will be a great one.

Yea, agreed Sundays game will be great! As for Buffalo I'm surprised they did that good with the quarterbacks first game of his year a 3rd round rookie he did alright. They're running back is key Lynch was amazing I didn't expect much from him.

Agreed! Tony Romo practically scored for them. But then again they (Buffalo) did have that 1,000 yard return for a touchdown! :eek2:

You know, I dare say that Dallas will give the Patriots a run for their money if they have their heads in the game...

OK heres my 2 cents on the situation..

1. Tony Romo throws 5 picks, coughs up the ball, and they still win... who cares how it looks, a W is a W.

2. The Bills try the "lets call a timeout right before the ball is snapped" crap and it didn't work... Nail a 53 yard field goal splitting the uprights TWICE and win the game, you deserve to win it.

3. Dallas is 5 and 0.. and anyone coming back with a "who have they beaten" needs to stay at home, because they've scored 35 + points in the first 4 games they've played, in a league where parity is so celebrated.

4. Every team can have a bad game, the Browns were within 10 points of the Patriots all day sunday.... Dallas still won.

5. We'll see what Dallas is made of when they play New England next week.

god i love the cowboys. romo just had a bad day, but without the defense they would've been screwed. special teams needs to get their act together too, they've been without their main guy keith david though.

without the defense, the boys wouldve been out of it early on. the offense had been picking it up early in the year, and then the defense slowly came along, the pats game should be good. they'll definitely try to get TO involved a lot, but I can see the pats D taking out witten and TO somehow, i see crayton stepping up again and maybe even sam hurd getting involved more, but really it would be nice to see theyre running game get going and actually using the backs where theyre best, JJ out in space (not up the butt cracks of their guards) and barber bruising things up, play action action would be good too, they might need to with the pats D likely crowding the line

end rant

Yeah, the defense was fine, but let's not forget who they were playing. I think the Bills were 31st in the NFL in offense going into the game.

And just having a bad game is one thing....6 turnovers is another. I'm nervous, because - while Romo is the best thing we've had in years - he started doing this last year, too, and we all know how that turned out.

Too many years of being a Mavericks fan have turned my hope into worry, I think.

I'm not too worried, I mean obviously everyone has bad games, all of the "greats" (not that romo is yet by any means) or at least the more notable qb's (right now) have had had awful games and lost, manning (big manning) and brady have all had games with a lot of interceptions but their teams lost those games.

The problem at the end of last year was the defense fell apart completely, then the offense tried to compensate. The defense was suspect during the first few games but really picked it up, regardless if they've played poor offenses. I think they'll be fine and have a nice balance, the offense was stellar the first and the defense was "ok" and now the defense has been picking it up, once both getting going, not to disregard special teams, it'll be fun times.

but still, a win is a win like someone said, 5-0 is still 5-0. resiliency is still a team effort, even though romo was definitely to blame for tons of turnovers, he also brought them back into it at the end, it takes some balls to keep your head up with so many mistakes

Vegas has the spread at 5 points or 5.5 I think (obviously for the Patriots). Still that's not a huge spread--less than a touchdown. I'm thinking (hoping) it will be a good upset...regardless it will be a good game.

I'll be wearing my Romo Jersey :D

Edit: In honor of the big game, I've changed my avatar LOL

Hey, there were a few times there where I thought D was gonna take it to us. Like when it was 27-24, , and then Dallas almost runs it all the way back.....I was starting to worry. (well a little bit!!) I was tuning in and out of the game with company at the house.

I taped the game yesterday, still haven't watched it. How did TO and Moss do??
