Weight-Loss Coffeebro's 170 pounds by Sept 1st Challenge

Weight-Loss
Hey, at least you had fun and now you are getting back on track! I think it's a good idea to have a little "off" time as long as you follow up with staying on the straight and narrow! :p

Oh Madness love I totally agree. Too bad I havnt been on the straight and narrow for more that a couple of days at a time without falling off again. I am determined to be stricter from here on out.

:whip cracks in the background: That's why we're here ;)

I'm going to update on Saturdays...so, maybe picking a certain day to update will help? Saturday is my weigh-in day...and accountability is 9/10ths of the work!

Hopefully now that you are back to work and biking and all it will come off quicker. I'm hoping for that when I get back from vacation. :sifone:

I feel like Ive been on an extended vacation. I held it together for the first part but over the last 4 weeks Ive gone down in flames.

Back down to 190. Last week was better, but I know I could still do more. This week will be a strong week.

I've reached a small setback. I wound up buying a new scale that was supposed to be more accurate...and it weighs me heavier than my last scale. Going to have to work twice as hard to meet this challenge (or just weigh myself on the old scale, lol). Thought I'd share my frustration. I'm at 181 on the old scale, been maintaining for a little while.

yeah changing scale in mid weightloss is always bad.

good news. Im back to 187 this morning. Maybe I can still hit the 170s before the end of the month.

I'm still planning to make the challenge on my new scale. It's just going to take more effort. I'm planning a 4 mile walk this evening. Lets hope that the dog can keep up with me in this heat, lol. It's become ritual that I'm out-exercising him...and he's a pitbull. lol.

Good job on getting back on track! Watch out now ;)

Can't say that mastiffs have the highest energy level. Probably not one of the best dogs around if you want an exercise partner. I might be able to top a pitbull out...but don't give me a border collie, lol. The good lord ain't made a human yet that can out-exercise one of them bad boys, lol.

Congrats on the 185, Matt. That's sweet. Looks like I may end up hitting 170 after all. Since quitting the gym temporarily to concentrate on my running I've been dropping weight again. I'm in the upper 170's now. I doubt I'll see 170 by September but it'll be close... maybe a pound or two away based on how I've been losing recently.

I'm not giving in yet either. I walked Brogan yesterday for 2 miles and today for 3. That scale is going to obey me yet! Now, let's just hope it's in time for the challenge to be met ;)

Thanks Brad. Id be right there with you if I hadnt screwed around last month.
