So where's the strength training? :)

I don't know....it must be hiding. I know, I know, I should have just started it this week. Im having a hard time as it is getting up at 5:15 am to do cardio, then go to work, but I know I will blow it off if I save it for after work. So I will have to get up around 4-something in the am. I used to do that every morning, but back then I was used to it, it was already part of my routine. Now the challenge is making exercise part of my routine.

Didnt work out this morning, was extremely tired. I swear, I used to be able to get 6 hrs of sleep and work out every morning with no problem. Im in need of a good 8-9 hrs of sleep!! maybe i dont need that much sleep once i get into the work out routine. But, I worked out Mon, Tues, Wed, so far and I plan to go on a long hike on saturday. hopefully i will work out tomorrow morning too.

Bkft: 1/2 whole grain english muffin toasted with redu fat pb & tbsp honey, banana.
snack: 1 large apple
lunch: whole wheat pita pocket with grilled chicken, green bell pepper, shredded cheese, handful of diced avocado.
snack: carrots with hummus
dinner: will try to choose something healthy on my date.

oh and i keep forgetting to put this ....I drink 1 cup of green tea when i get to work every morning. and drink lots of water during the day.

So...maybe i was being punished this morning for skipping the cardio b/c when i got in the shower :shower: I dropped the soap....i know, inmates worst nightmare....and i bent down to pick it up and my right hip area hit the ceramic soap holder connected to the wall. man it hit hard!!! the hit bounced me to the other side of the shower, i thought i was going to fall outside of the tub! i can feel it bruising up every minute, i swear.

Last night's dinner: seared salmon over a bed of spinach leaves. Delish! I had 1/2 of it and will eat the other half tonight. 2 glasses red wine.

Is that up? down? the same?

I dunno, my weight fluctuates by 5 lbs. The most I have ever weighed was 134. I've been about 127-131 for the past 6 months or so. It's hard for me to think Im losing weight/gaining muscle when it stays within this range. But I also havent been working out consistently for a long time either.

Last nights dinner:
beat the heck out of venison, cooked it on the stove, made deer fajitas. they were good.

Nor are you weighing your food/tracking your calories I'm guessing.

Nope! But I havent been consistently working out until the beginning of January. Over the holidays, I are like crap. I think I might do the fitday thing today, its such a pain in my a$$!! and most of the stuff i buy is much healthier than what it says on there, but when i have time to fill it out i am at work and not at home where i can customize it. argh! so annoying. thats why i usually dont do the fitday, its not easy and fast.

ok Stingo, I will start putting it into my daily calendar to go home after work each day and fill out my fitday (if i cannot do it at work). thanks for getting on my about this stuff! much appreciated. :beerchug:

Well, I think especially since Im in Texas (its easier to find an area to hunt) that I am surrounded by men who absolutely LOVE to hunt deer. So when deer season starts, my dad and some other people I know go out hunting and bring home too much deer. so they get it all packaged and send it to friends/relatives. yup. so every year my freezer is full of venison. its supposed to be really healthy for you too.
