cardio question, this is a puzzle i cannot figure out

Let's try to avoid the personal bashing. If you disagree, then just state what your oppinions are and back it up with some articles. If you guys start to argue, people are going to ask that you guys get banned from the forum ... now, what does that accomplish.
And, for the record, I don't believe that HIIT is just for body builders. It believe that it's for people wishing to lose fat without compromising muscle and people that don't judge their appearance by the scale.

Play nice :)

Okay, I give up. I'm not going to argue with you anymore Xander. However, next time you post one of your totally wrong threads expect to hear from me.

I wasn't arguing. Please give links to my totally wrong threads, or the ones which show that I "know very little about physical fitness and how the human body works, then we can review them.

I think you should be more careful before insulting people, as you didnt even read my posts carefully before replying.

you know what ... YOU ARE BOTH WRONG!! i could probably find about 2 dozen articles that prove both of you wrong ... that's the nature of this business ... there is really no such this as 'right', so, let's just agree that i'm right and you are both wrong :) ...

HIIT cardio is not best for overall health, but it does burn fat at a quicker pace than steadily paced cardiovascular activities. You are not right, and I am not wrong, sorry. I do not mean to sound stubborn, but I know what I am speaking of. I have not insulted anyone on this thread yet Xander, I simply disagreed with you and your article.

HIIT on a tread mill is pretty hard to do. it takes a couple of seconds for the few treds ive used to switch speeds. not to mention the difficulty of typing in the desired speed when doing the sprinting part of the routine. ive done HIIT on an elptical machine pretty well.
