Sport Carb Cycling Really Works!

Sport Fitness
How many grams of carbs du you usually get on your high, moderate and low carb days?

I was looking at my fitday and my high carb days are on Back and Leg days (because my workouts are the toughest on these days), so two days per week. On the high carb days I was eating 275-325g each day.

My moderate days are chest/calves, arms, and shoulder day, so three days per week. On the moderate days I was eating 225 -275g

On the low days, which are my off days, two days per week, I was eating 50-100g.

This all just kind of happened, I was just trying to eat the amount of carbs that I was going to use for weight training and recovery... I didn't pick these numbers before hand or anything, highly experimental.

I was just curious if a carb cycling diet is beneficial when tryin to lose weight. Ive been on the zigzag 3 and 1 diet (20%deficit 3days mantenance 1 day), I do cardio 7 days a week, and lift 4. would it be beneficial to add in carb cycling or is it not a good idea because im on a deficit

I would say hell yeah it's beneficial. In my opinion, when are you on a defecit you better be eating very nutritious foods because you aren't getting a lot of food. Most carbs are just plain junk food. With the carb cycling you can still eat a lot of the good nutritious carbs.

carb cycling is very effective for fat loss my cyle program consists of high carb low carb no carb then repeat the cycle on my high carb days i do all my heavy compound lifts
