Can you drink too much water??

I suggest doing a Fluids Calculation first, so you actually know how much your body needs. Height, weight, excersize completely changes thre amount of water you should take in:

having TOO much water that's over the recomended amoutn wont kill you at all. It'll just make you seriously need to pee a lot more AND make you feel bloated, sloshy inside and heavy. Remeber some foods and other drinks can give / take fluids from your body.

Several problems with the calculator. First and foremost, it's in kg and ml. A lot of people here work with lbs and oz. Also, it goes only up to 115 kg (~253 lbs). A lot of our members are above that. Thirdly, the calculator doesn't seem to account for height (just weight), or the kind of exercise.

I don't think anybody needs a 'fluid calculator'. Just looking at the colour of your urine will give you all the information you need. If it's nearly clear, or a very pale yellow, you're fine. If it's darker, drink more. If you feel sluggish, bloated and full of water, you obviously had enough for a while. Common sense.

I agree with Ando3242 that you must drink equal amount of water throughout the day. I recently have been to Hair Specialist for my hair loss problem and she suggested me to at least have 1 glass of water every hour. Before this our family physician told me many times to drink at least 12-14 glass of water everyday even if you are not thirsty. Don't wait till you are thirsty. Apart from this you must not drink too much water as excess of anything is not good for health.
