manofkent - I think all the men arrested are either Pakistani or British with Pakistani origin - thats what is being reported at the moment.
I had an interview with the Welsh Assembly yesterday and due to the heightened security it took me half hour to get through the security checks - had the wand waved around me, had to put my hands in this crap that would have shown if i'd handled explosives, take my shoes off which were checked etc etc.
Madness.

When I flew out of Germany to DC, the lady at security in Munich stuck that wand thing down my pants. I told her she should at least buy me a drink first. She told me to take off my shoes and go away.
yup been there where they make u take ur shoes off...i dont understand though, a lot of times they just do it randomly...so why me? i dont look like a terrorist..and yet there are some suspicious looking men in line with me and they just walk right past...that bugs me.
moma they tend to do it on a 1 in 5 count - every 5th person is checked.
plus they do it because there was a man arrested attempting to hide a bomb in his shoes - he was a british born pakistani as well (like those arrested yesterday)
