OK!! I went and paid for the dress today JUST now!! WOO HOO!!! I tried on the sample again and amazingly I got it mostly zipped up! When I first tried it on 2 weeks ago it would not zip at all. It's a size 10. She remeasured me and I have gone down a whole inch around my waist and additionally from my hips!!! I am still ordering a larger size knowing full well that it will need alteration closer to the cermony date because when they go up sizes, it not only gets cut wider, but longer too. I have a very long torso. That and my chest (36D) which never gets any smaller. I will need the extra room to account for both of those factors even though I plan on being much, much thinner. And some length added to as I'm standing barefoot in these pictures and it's just barely touching the floor.
But I just LOVE it!! It's very bottom heavy so I have to make sure my hips are in order! And I will need to do a little light weight training so that my arms and back are toned. No miracle hide here!!! There is a net overlay that's fairly busy on the bodice so I'll be able to unnoticably wear a corsert underneath which is nice and flattering no matter what kind of figure you have!.
6 months from now I will be walking...strike that.....GLIDING down the aisle in THIS dress but in a size 6 again! Then I'll look more like my avatar!
If you don't remember...it's Jenny Packham called LOLA.
I'm making a goofy face here...my friend Jill was cracking me up and plus I was just giddy happy.
