And what's up with all the Van Halen, haha. I mean, honestly, who works out to Van Halen. Obviously, it's working for her, but imagine what she would look like if they played some Static-x, some NERD or some Disturbed.

I wish i had the money she spends in the pharmacy each year. Either way,, you can't doubt that she is dedicated. All the drugs in the world couldn't do that without some serious time in the gym.

Now, for you old timers, I don't ever wanna hear anything else bad above Bev Francis.
 
Well, at the risk of acting like there should actually be differences in male and female...
it doesn't really seem too far fetched to believe something is going on when a woman devotes her life to making her body look as masculine as possible.

not that there's anything wrong with that....(Seinfeld gesture here)
 
It is personally not my style but they aren't "messed up" in the head. I know one women who builds because she loves eating and would rather be muscled than obese, can't argue with that logic. Also the more you are around it, the less big and crazy it all seems. In both female and male bodybuilding you start to see "big" as a complete different thing. The average person thinks someone like Vin Diesel is huge but in that world he is puny.

It is all about taboo's and what you are used too. Don't be so quick to write people off, open up a little to different ways of being, you might be surprised at what you find. :cool:
 
I can definitely see that she's very passionate about it, I know a lot of people are. If bodybuilding makes them happy, then let them do it whether they're male or female.

I'm happy with my body the way it is now, and I like looking female.

Seriously, either 'she' started life as a 'he' and is still carrying the boys around....or 'she' has taken so much gear 'she' grew one on her own.

Normally I don't fine female BB's 'gross' or 'nasty'...but somethings not right about her.
 
Ok, so I finally saw some vids on youtube on her since I couldn't get the one on the website to work. And seriously I don't see why people almost seem to resent female bodybuilders. I remember the first time I saw a female bodybuilder and my first idea was "wow, that's badass". Furthermore, I'm sick of men saying how they are unattractive, as if all things boil down to how they view them sexually.
 
Instead of poking fun at the way she looks we should focus on the discipline she has and strive to acheive even 1/4 of it. The majority of normal people won't even accumulate that type of discipline ever in their life.

Anyone who has so much passion, dedication, and discipline for something in life as she does get's my respect.

I think people resent female body builders because they can't understand them. They seem to think that all fitness is just about looking more attractive.
I would disagree that it's just men who are guilty of this though, women often ask big guys why they lift so much when most women prefer smaller muscles on men.

The woman on the video probably just lifts because she likes it, she gets a buzz from lifting more and cutting fat levels, it's just her thing and she's damn good at it too.

People tend to hate what they don't understand unfortunately

Oh, and a lot of men feel insecure when looking at women who could kick their ass :)
 
I'm not going to poke fun at her for how she looks, but I don't have a lot of respect for people who use steroids...just a personal thing....and I certainly feel someone has the right to express that they find how she looks unattractive and that doesn't necessarily mean he's insecure.

I find very fit women attractive even some most men would consider "too muscular" but she has kind of lost any appearance of femininity to me....but of course if she likes it she shouldn't care what I think

I agree with this bit at least ;)

This woman has found something in her life that she loves enough to show extreme dedication to and that's quite rare. If I feel anything towards this woman it's jealousy, because she know what her goal is in life and she's living her dream

And living your dream is worth millions of negative comments from strangers :)
