I wanted to run this by people to see if this calculation is correct. I read the formula in a weight loss book.
My current weight is 250 lbs with 33.5% body fat. That would mean I have about 83.75 lbs of fat total leaving me with a lean body mass of 167. I figured my weight for 15% body fat and it came out to be around 195.
The reason I'm questioning it is because I wrestled 189 in high school with 17%body fat though that was 8 years ago and I have been lifting weight for 12 months. To me 195 seems a bit hi for 15% body fat on a 5'8" guy, though I do have a large frame and big bones.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advanced.
