Blah

Happy Birthday! Enjoy it!

That said, you may be frustrated, but you're not frustrated enough to actually do what needs to be done. Like you said earlier, you reach that point where you think "that's it", but that line in the sand moves around a bit. Start looking at your diet and workouts and see what you can change and improve, and your behaviors that you can promote or curtail in terms of getting you to your goal. But the key is to make a conscious decision each and every time - so that way you're in control, and you can take responsibility for your actions.

Happy Birthday too.
Yeah, sometimes you should just enjoy yourself and not worry too much about it. As for motivation get yourself pumped for an activity, tell people your doing it, then you will have your friends/family's support when doing it to push you along. I seriously lacked some motivation a few months ago and then me and my friend spent 3 weeks (ending last Friday) of staying round each other's houses and keeping each other motivated. Eventually after one week we were both pumped and just helped each other out. The results in 3 weeks might look minimum on paper, but they have set me up mentally for months. I feel stronger, don't crave bad foods and have huge self confidence. The better a person is behind you, the more motivation you get. (please no jokes guys ;-) )

I have 2 cheats coming this week, and no more for the foreseeable future.

Today is mine and my son's birthday, so we are going to his fav Mex restaurant where they sing to you and bring you a free little dessert thingy for your bday. Friday night, dh and I are going on a date night alone for both our birthdays (his is Aug7/mine is Aug14) - which will be fried seafood (my total weakness). sooooo, those are some pretty bad cheats. But, that's life.

I say enjoy yourself. Don't stress on the little stuff.

Of course, if you were doing this every single day, I'd say it would be a bad thing, but you're not, so it's ok to enjoy yourself a little bit every once in a while... especially for your birthday.

chillen is a wise man.
i learned much from him.

motivation, like many of life's aspects, can be a cycle in your life.
there are going to be times that you feel the burning passion and motivation to be able to break past any wall thats in your way.
and at other times, well, you wont

your spirit of incentive and enthusiasm can soar at times, yet at other occasions, it can be frail, fragile and pathetic.

Its a pshychological cycle encouraged by life's circumstances, BUT ONLY allowed by your own mentality!

yes, talking about it does help.
free yourself of the invisible mental chains that constrain your brain and bring it strain and pain driving you insane because of the useless games it has you playin while you train.
instead, just gain control. relax and count your blessings. im very serious when i say this.

Be estatically happy that you have the ablitity to work towards your goals and progress.
NEVER take this for granted
it is truly a blessing.
you will probably never miss it until it is gone.
Think about that.

i believe you will shatter this plateu. you have to be stronger.

winners NEVER quit and quitters NEVER win

LETS FREAKIN GET OUT OF THIS DITCH. GET YOUR CHIN UP!

this plateu is just another challenge in life.
its challenging you, deschain; its staring you in the eye.
are you up for the challenge?

That is a very interesting way to look at it. I've never really thought about that, but it makes a lot of sense.

Recently, I've had some problems with wrist pain. They believe it is a possible nerve issue in the cervical spine. It comes and goes randomly, but when it hits hard, I have to wear a stiff brace on whichever hand it's affecting, and certainly can't train.

I never really thought about what it would be like if I was unable to train at all for an extended amount of time. That does put it into perspective. Rather than whining that I can't seem to find that groove and get into it, I should be thanking God that I have the ability and knowledge to get up and change my body.

Wise words from such a young boy. :)

Sorry to hear about your wrist problems. Isn't it funny how things like that make us realize how great it is that we aren't all in wheelchairs?

I makes me feel good to see a young man 16 years old with a mind like that!

This is what its about! Hell ya!

Wise beyond his years! ROCK ON PB!
