Weight-Loss Beginning January 1st. Quarterly challenge?

I just wanted to drop the ball to see how much interest there might be in a 1st quarter challenge (3 months). I really like the monthly challenges, but think a longer term goal will help me more because I can plan things out over a longer period of time. I think this get me in a better state of mind to set up life long habits, since a month is only 30 days.

Count me in, I don't see why I cant do a quaterly challenge along with a monthly one. It'd be a way to kick off my New Years Resolution, and hopefully follow through with it.

I'd be up for a quarterly challenge.
I think it'd give more people a chance to show some real progress, in case they make a couple slip-ups, which, let's face it, can happen really easily in the span of one month.
 
Oh my gosh this sounds like EXACTLY what I need. I'm super competitive so any kind of challenge is perfect. How exactly does this work? Do you just keep track of your progress on the same thread or something with pics?

So is it a race to lose weight or most reps/ miles etc?

either way count me in, I am far to competitive no to try to be the best.

NO, it is not a race or a contest! It's a challenge to yourself to see if you can achieve your goals.
It's also fun to compared amount of weight lost though!

just checked them out sorry, my intention is a steady 2lbs per week so i am going to go for 26lbs off in that 13 week period.

I will give a start weight on the first but I would tthink around 210lbs.
 
yeh count me in, currently doing well in the december challenge. i`d like to lose 28lbs in the 3 months, that`ll take me to my goal weight.
 
Yep, count me in! I'd like to be lose 10% of my body weight by then, so be down to 120.5kg. Can we keep these going throughout next year? Sometimes monthly challenges are just too short :)

That's entirely up to.... anyone!
After our 3 month challenge, I may or may not start a second one.
It's too far away for me to say yet, but it's really a thing that anyone can start.
 
I'm in! I think by doing a 3 month chunk of time I'll be able to stay more focussed than doing month-by-month challenges.
