Before Football pictures

ive read and heard that the only way to mess up your growth plates is by lifting extremly large amounts of weights that you cant handle. for mostly all my excersises im doing 3-4 sets 0f 8-15 reps.

yeah im taking protein shakes right after my workout. i looked into the weight gainer at one time but i heard its crap.

You sound like a smart kid so I think you'll do well, keep reading stuff on here rather than listening to mates at school and you should see great progress

Say, how are the Paw Sox doing this year anyways??

Well i havent really caught up with them lately, but the few games i went too they looked good. You cant beat those games. A good time at dirt cheap price

Thanks again to everybody else for the great comments/advice. Keeps me going

Jake, huge improvement dude. Still doing DeFranco's?

*EDIT*
Btw, how much do you weigh now?

Thanks, and no im not doing defrancos anymore. Never actually followed defrancos program. Just kind of took his workout ideas, made a crappy upper/lower split, did that for about a month, and just recently switched to the allmighty fullbody. Im weighing in at 147 now. And according to this thing we did at school, 7% bf

That's great progress for such a short space of time. What are you doing for leg work? Yours are looking pretty good

Thanks guys. Im doing fbw 3x, doing deadlifts day 1, bulgarian squats day 2, and squats day 3. I throw in some calf raises too sometimes. bulgarian squats really kick your a**. I used to squat and deadlift in the same day, but it was way too much.

Good start man. You have a great platform to work off of at 15. If your a football player you need some more shoulder man. I don't care what position you play, you need to fill out your shoulder pads. I know upperbody is a lot of peoples first concern, but as a football player you need to worry about making sure you don't have skinny legs.

Keep up the hard work man, it will pay off

Nonsense, I know bodybuilders that have been training since they were 12 and are extremely ripped now.

With proper guidance he really doesn't have to worry about when he should start pushing his body hard.

I wouldn't advice doing a lot of back isolation exercises at your age though, but your gym coaches can probably give you more advice on that subject.

I started at 12...No problems I'm aware of

great progress, really great job! keep going.
