DNA, by definition, by proven science, contains the instructions for the functioning of all living organisms.

Your statements are true, when talking about evolution, over millions of years - yeah, what you are saying makes some sense. But I'm not talking about past or future, I'm talking about here and now. What you do now, is directly limited and controlled by your DNA. If you're DNA allows it, you can use your consciousness, as you seem to want to, to make things manifest in your mind in order to beleive what you want to beleive.
Arguments are based on facts, Karky, you are basing your argument on belief. Belief is, and will always be, open to millions of interpretations. Does matter which interpretation you beleive because simply believing it does not make it true or a fact. I don't know why you talk about biology and genes separately they are both found within biology...

That's why I don't beleive in God. People beleive in God because they base their lives on belief and not fact. Because they like the idea of giving up their responsibility to a deity to make it seem like they have no control over their lives so that they can make others beleive that everything that happens to them isn't their fault.
