Ok, I found this and thought it would fit right in here!!! What do you say ladies?

For National Women's Health Week 2006, the Office on Women's Health sponsored an 8-week national physical activity challenge called the WOMAN (Women and girls On the Move Across the Nation) Challenge. The first 6,800 participants received a free pedometer and tracking log to record their daily steps/activity.

The Challenge offered women and girls two options for participating: either as an individual or as a team consisting of two to ten (2-10) participants. Participants self reported their daily step totals on a personal WOMAN Challenge online account to move them along their chosen virtual route. As participants entered their steps, the WOMAN Challenge web site calculated weekly step totals, average daily steps, percent of weekly increase/decrease in physical activity, and distance traveled on the virtual route. Throughout the Challenge, participants received automatic progress reports, motivational emails, and health education.

Stay tuned for more information on WOMAN Challenge 2007!

The 2007 WOMAN Challenge is coming soon.

The WOMAN Challenge will kick off with the start of Women's Health Week:
May 13, 2007.

I'm in either as a single or on a team. Whichever.

Maybe if we have enough people, we can do teams of 10 for the first 10 who are interested, and then the next 10 and the next 10 etc and create another thread for WOMAN group 1, WOMAN group 2, WOMAN group 3 or something similar to track our successes and hardships there as well.

I'm hoping we'll have to make multiple teams. They can be any number from 2 to 10 and if you want to create your own, just say so and recruit your buddies! It'd be great to get the majority of teams together before the actual start of the contest. Do you guys have any preference on max numbers for teams? Should we do a full 10 or 5 max??

Come on ladies let's get this thing together so we'll be ready to roll.. umm. walk!

Hmm... I never thought about that. Do I have to be American to take part? 'Cause I'm afraid I can't arrange that. :p

I suppose we could go the whole 10 for team numbers. Unless we end up with a weird number, where we'd have like four teams of 10 and one team of 6. Know what I mean? For now, I think 10 is good.

the registration for this is available now i had forgotten to check back on it :) but it's available now

the team name is

WLF_Babes

:D

YAY!!!!

Did you join the team :D
