-- How much weight do you want to lose? i want to lose 10lbs

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? i want to lose the weight by december 20th

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? i'm going to exercise daily and eat between 1000-1200 cals a day.

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? well, i hope you guys can help me. :eek: please??

-- How realistic is your goal? my goal is very realistic. i have to lose alittle more than 1 lb a week. i can do that :D

-- When will you start? i will start tomorrow.!! there's no better day!
i look forward to advice and tips from everyone. oh, i can't wait for that challenge to start either. i'm so excited.

well, i know i gave a brief description of myself in the newbie forum but i'm going to here as well, for those that may not remember or didn't see that post.
ok, i'm 22 years old and a full time student majoring in psychology and minoring in health. i'm graduating in may 06 and getting married july 06 (my future in-laws are expecting about 600 people :eek: ) well, that's i guess that's it. i'm not too interesting of a person. have a great night.
 
Hey I think you're interesting ;) ! And I'm honored to be the first person posting in your thread :p ! It's so cool we have similar goals, timeframes, and plans! We are so set to do this thing. Thats.....a BIGGGGG..wedding......I really think you will be abel to lose the one lb a week..if you follow your plan as close to a "t that you can!!!!....What kind of exercises are you gonna do?

Isn't that the dreaded question?? What kind of exercises?? Ugh, I hate to exercise but KC is right, we all have to do it if we want the pounds to fall.

I'm Melissa. I am 20 yrs old (on Saturday). I Have a little over 9 pounds to finish my currant goal. Then about another 5. Getting married sounds so fun!!!! But 600 people!!! Holy F***!!!! All in laws??? :eek:

10 pounds by December? heck yes baby you can do it!!! And we'll all be there for every step!!! 10 pounds...piece of cake-errr- no piece of cake. Okay that was corny. I'm beginning to sound like Christina. HAHA just kidding Christina!!! :p

heidipye, thanks for stopping by. you should like a really interesting person yourself. :) yea, our goals are pretty similar. that's pretty cool. we can help each other out alot. i'll be stopping by your journal as well.


kccruz, i plan on going to the gym 5 days a week. mwf-30-60 mins. cardio and a few wieghts. t and thur-go 1 1/2 hr -2 hr. cardio and weights as well. thanks for stopping by.

honeybee, yea, 600 people is outrageous. that's including both families but i can't imagine it being THAT big. congrats on almost reaching your goal. that's so awesome!! i'll see you around.
 
hey amndpu, your exercise plan is great! i should exercise as much as you do. hmmm... maybe someone here should start an exercise competition. anyway, i hope you're having a great day! talk to you soon :D .
 
hi all, well today was alright. didn't get to exercise. won't get to tomorrow either. hopefully tuesday. i love working out. during the summer, i would go for as along as four hours. doing mostly cardio. but with school and homework, i can't do that anymore.
heidipye, an exercise competition would be awesome!! i'm glad you stopped by. i don't feel so lonely know :D thanks. *hug* wish me luck tomorrow!!
 
hey you, tuesday is a new month so a great time to get going on your exercise plans! four hours is a TON of exercise, i am seriously impressed! i could never make myself go for that long. i read somewhere else about someone starting an exercise comp here. i'd start it myself but i'm not sure how to go about it and i don't know if i'd have enough time to run it. hopefully someone else will step up to the plate! i think a great one would be who burns the most cals exercising in a given period of time, or who does the most minutes of cardio in a week, or whatever. anyways i hope you're having a wonderful day, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN :D !
 
well, today's going pretty well. i'm feeling really stressed out about all the homework i have to do this month. i have a really hard test tomorrow, a paper due thursday, an essay due on wednesday,an interview and a paper due the following tuesday, a diet and exercise analyze paper due, a group project due, an observational paper due, and all my tests that are coming up, plus reading, and doing volunteer work. i know i'm missing a few things here but ohmygosh, i'm so stressed. and what am i doing right now??? sitting on my ass typing on here. stupid, stupid, stupid!!! and yet for some reason, i can't get my ass up to do work!! i've never had this problem before. well, i usually procrastinate but NOT nearly this bad. anyways, enough complaining. i'm heading out to do some studying.

hey heidipye, i'm so glad you stop by my journal. i'd be feeling pretty lonely if you didn't. i think those are some great ideas for an exercise challenge. i'd definitely be up for one. ok, take care. talk to you soon.
 
Wow, that really is a TON of stuff to do. I dont know how you do it. With the job I have, I am only allowed to take 2 college courses at a time and they have to be online courses. I thought I had it bad. LOL. Mine is nothing compared to yours. Losing 10 Lbs is my goal too! It just seems so hard to do. My body sheds weight soooo slowly, but then again, i dont do as much exercise as I should do. But good luck! you are definately on the right track. I would say that you're doing A LOT of cardio in the beginning and you might wear yourself out, but if you use to do 4 hrs, then YOU GO GIRL!!! I'll be checking in on you! Good luck!
 
kwoehlk, thanks for stopping by!! man, how i wish i didn't have so much to do. tomorrow after my test, i've got to get my butt in gear and get some work done. i can't wait to start seeing the lbs melt away. i want this to be a VERY successful month for me. i hope you stick around and keep me on track. i'll help you to ;)

well, i'm back from trick or treating and didn't do so bad. i didn't binge on candy!! that's an improvement. YAY!!! i hope others did as well, if not better. have a good night.
 
wow, you are a busy girl :eek: ! i know it doesn't help for me to say this, but try not to stress too much, it just makes things harder. and you can do it, i know you can! good luck on all your tests and projects, and see you in the weightloss challenge! woohoo go blue!
 
ok. well, yesterday wasn't too bad. i didn't eat as much candy as i thought i would which is excellent. i didn't binge!!! yea, i have tendencies to binge so i'm looking to stop that all together.NO MORE BINGING.
heidipye, yay!! we're on the same team. that's so awesome!!! i'm so excited. well, i'm ready to get started.
 
Hey im glad to hear that you didnt binge on the candy. If you can pass on all that candy, I have all the faith in the world that you can achieve your 10 lbs goal!

well, i managed not to binge either...but i did sneak a few. :eek:

i dunno if it helps to say i understand how it feels to be overwhelmed by the amount of work you have right now. looks like tonight will be a late night for me just so i can catch up on whats due tomorrow. even in times like these, i make sure to get in my exercise. it truly helps me refocus and concentrate. plus the energy levels have increased drastically!

well, keep it up the good work! :D
 
good morning all, i'm so tired this morning cause i stayed up so late doing some reading and writing a couple papers. ugh, i want to go back to bed!! but i'm about to start another assignment. well, here's to a good day!!!

t'is4me, well, it's good to know that i'm not the only one overwhelmed with tons of work. i try to not stress out. i usually find that i get everything done by the time it's due but i hate letting it pile up on me.

the only time i felt hungry was around 430 when i got home from class. but other than that i haven't felt hungry at all. which is good. i hope i don't feel hungry tomorrow. wish me luck on having another good day. and tomorrow i have to give an information report and i'm soooo nervous :eek: i hate speaking in front of people.
