Alright--It's true. I'm lazy.

set a specific time every day and just make yourself do it... schedule the time to do it...

generally first thing in the morning is what works for a lot of people so that it's done for the day -I'm an end of th day person because mornings are well - awful...

it takes 28 days to build a habit - all you have to do is start on day one then go to day 2..

If I set a schedule to do something... make a plan... tell myself, "I about going to go for a walk in fifteen minutes," I will not-- will NOT-- follow it.
For instance, yesterday I said I was going to go do crunches and walk up and down my stairs, and I didn't. I just sat around on the computer for a while. Eventually, maybe an hour and a half later, I went and took a WALK.

If I say I'm going to do something, I no longer feel like doing it. I might go do something else, but I won't do what I say I'm about to do. I just have to do it without saying I am.

Maybe I'm strange.

I get bored easily, so I have to constantly switch up whatever I'm doing.

For a while, I was taking a walk around my subdivision each morning, and it made me feel more energetic throughout the day, but now I can't seem to want to wake up and just go do it.

i too can be lazy, but i feel justified - ha, cos i have a very tiring physical job and 2 kids to run after. however ive found the more weight i lose the less lazy i become. definitly more energy and motivation.
i am on a tight budget, and havent been able to afford the gym - yet. but i walk more and faster and also do free weights which i use regularly.
i find that now i actually want to go for that walk, where as 6 months ago i would have made every excuse under the sun not to move from the pc or chair or whatever. slim

I've read all the comments thank you. I'd just like to say a few things.

-I am not looking for motivation from others. I am looking for ways to self motivate myself.

-It's not that I wouldn't get a job to pay for it myself, it's that I wanted it specifically for summer, which starts very soon. By the time I was able to get a job (which wouldn't be until July) the three month pass wouldn't have been as useful to me as if I had it at the start of summer. It was simply supposed to be an advancement on the money, I had full intentions of paying every dime back.

-I ride my bike to school. I get a little more than 20 solid minutes of exercize a day doing this, which isn't much, but still better than zero. I'm trying to bump it up to more though.

Thank you for your comments. :)
