Figured I'd chime in with more of the, 'Please to remember you are human (-> require rest to adapt optimally) and conduct yourself accordingly, BSL', in case it'll help. He does seem rather stuck in his delusion of being a train rather than a person, though.
Remember, BSL, the formula looks like this:
..-> stress -> recovery -> adaptation ->..
Notice
recovery comes before adaptation. Notice also that this is a recursive statement. The logic is formal, and very simple. If
stress, then recovery. If
recovery, then adaptation. If adaptation, then stress, and so forth.
At no point in its endless truth table is stress -> adaptation ever a consideration. You may infer it according to the rules of supposition of most any logic, sure, but
only when you have already validated recovery. Which you have not. And will continue not to until you stop living in a castle in the sky and start learning how. Not necessarily in that order.
