I would maybe recommend you give them legs one more day. Or if you do run, don't do anything first to get yourself all pumped up. If you get all pumped up the testosterone will push you past healthy on those shins man.

Just take another day off from running.

Voice of experience talking there! How often would you train when going for a half marathon?
 
first thing- I know G8R80, and have been a part of his trainign for a bit of time. His shins have noithing to do with your 1/2 mary training.

He is twice as old as you also. So- if you are looking for an extra day off- this aint it ;) ehheheehe
