A tribute to Chillen

Heres a joke for you Chillen:
Two twins returned home each with a letter from there teachers explaining they had been using extremely bad language and not to come to school.

The next day when the twins each gave there dad the letter he gave them a hiding and sent them to bed.

the next morning the twins got up "what do you want for breakfast" asked there dad to which one of the twins replied "i'll have some of those ****en cornflakes thanks" his dad immediately gave the twin a hiding and sent him to bed.

"Now what do you want for breakfast" the dad asked to the other twin.

Well i won't have any of those ****en cornflakes thats for sure" the twin replied.

I knew that this thread had been made for the last couple of days.

I just didnt really know how to respond to it.

I was unable to personally comment, as I was humbled and rendered speechless.

I am extremely touched.

When I joined in May 2007, my purpose then as it is now, is to make people feel good about themselves, and realize they do have the tools within them to carry out their personal goals they desire.

I know the contents of the journey as much as my personal experience allows, as I lost over 30 lbs, I am 46 years old, and it took me a year and half of patience and personal adaption to reach my goals as stipulated in the avatar pic.

I personally know the hurts and personal anguish one can feel in the journey, and also know the absolute joy one can feel when they accomplish their goal---and this is what I want them to know.

And, this is the soul behind most of the posts I make on the forum. And, one of the reasons, I had created the ChillOut Log just a few weeks after joining the forum.

I know I am sometimes misunderstood, but my purpose is to spread peace, happiness, and joy. I have no interior motives other than to attempt to bring the best out of members of the forum, and make them realize they have what it takes to complete there desires and conquer any personal problems they encounter in life.

I am sincerely humbled by this thread. I want to thank each of you who had taken the time to respond and make comments.

I am sincerely touched.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Chillen

Put me in the pro-Chillen camp. Keep doing what you're doing. You're dedicated and sincere.

Are you a bit eccentric at times? Of course. That's part of your charm:D

Thank you Gooch. I appreciate your post and thoughts.

I am still taken back by this thread. Thanks, Gooch.

I assume this is a typo...do you mean " ulterior motives ?

Let me start by saying I like Chillen and I think his contribution to this forum is phenomenol. Sometimes I find his posts a little long for me and the writing style isn't always to my taste but, the good intention and sincerity always stands out. So, like everyone else in this thread Chillen, I thank you for your contribution.

However, if I were to start a tribute thread to everyone on this forum who has made a huge contribution to my fitness, training and nutrition over the years, the members lounge would be swamped (some of them have already posted on this thread)! I would start naming names but, the list would too long and I wouldn't wish to forget anyone.

So, sorry to partially hijack this thread but I think its only fair to mention the equally huge contribution made by many others over the years which has largely gone unmentioned until now :)

No doubt Chillen puts in more volunteer time trying to help folks in one day than I have in my entire, pathetic life. As for kicking the **** out of me, he'd have to catch me first, so if he's on a bike or foot, I think I'd be okay; if he's in a car, then I'm in for an @sswhooping!

LIES

The mods cheat on rep levels...I know this foshure!!!

Back when I was (Silent) and the green bars were still new. I would leave the forum with the MOST green bars in the whole forum. I would come back the next day and the mods rep had increased just past mine yet many of them didn't post anything at all...conspiracy!!!

Haha...no really its true...

Mods can't do it, only admins :p

Happy Birthday 2009, Chillen!

Thank you for the b-day props, Top Knife. Just another day breathing and living life as passionate as possible. Every.........day, is a birth......day to me. It began nearly 4 years ago, and everyday that I train, a new person is birthed, and over time has made a old man reborn. I am a little greyer now, have less hair, but (physically) I look in my youth. Diet and fitness can change you; just have to prove it to yourself. I try to be wise in what I do, and examine this process, and plan to "contradict the aging process" as long as I can. It is a product of schooling and a lifelong attempt to acquire it.

Good to see you haven't lost it!

Cheers,
TopKnife

I am in control on whether this happens or not. Thanks, Top knife. I try, and this is all I have.

Hope your day is well.

Again, thank you.

Chillen
