A question about Taylor Swift and her fans

I've been listening to Taylor Swift.... please don't ask why... but I notice a key theme in most of her songs. In nearly all of her songs, she talks about a boy she likes, but this boy likes someone else, but Taylor knows she could take better care of him than her. A perfect example is in her recent hit, "You belong With Me," where she sings about a boy she likes, but he's already taken, but she'll take better care of him.

I also notice that most songs by girls tend to have a central theme centered around guys who are already taken but she likes him (or some cases the song involves the relationship being over). I also notice that most songs by men, then to aim at a single girl, who isn't generally taken by anyone, but tends to be hit on. A perfect example is the song Scars by Papa Roach, who sings about a past relationship.

So I'm just wondering, do girls generally like men who are already in a relationship? Or do girls generally like men who are single?
 
I honestly don't know what the real answer is but I can say that a lot of people want things they can't have.

As to her music, I have heard (no backing to it) that she doesn't write her own music.
 
BTW, I mean single women, not married.

I have started to notice that women generally appear to favor men who has many friends who are girls. My guess is that they tend to like these values cause it probably means they could take care of them?

Interestingly I get different responses from girls about this. It appears they generally dislike men who cheat by breaking away from their girlfriends to be with them, but they generally tend to favor men who are or have recently been in a relationship.
 
Ill let yas in on a little secret. All the songs that the ladys you speak of who sing about wantin a guy thats either taken or married or whatever. Im the guy their singing about ! No joke, these famous female singers email and text me all day long. Thats why the papparazzi is always waitin outside my door to see me take off in the ferrari. Its almost a curse after awhile, im like look, im married Shakira or whoever else it may be hounding me that day ! Please stop emailing me ! Im takin.

I tought I was supposed to believe everything I read on the internet. Wonder how much other stuff I read that was wrong or a lie :yelrotflmao:

As for the OP question, I am surprised no woman have posted to indicate their likings. I can say that growing up as the nice guy, we do finish last in the sprints but usually win the marathons.

I thought somethin was up when I saw that all the emails were forewarded to me instead of direct messages. huh. And all this time I though I was the man.

And yes boys, go get yourselves some cheap rings and wear em on your wedding finger and go grocery shopping alone. This works for my buds all the time.
 
This thread reminds me of the vid of Drew Bledsoe being an office perv and getting away with it. Anyone else= arrested. I’ll look for it on Utube tonight.

Most women say they want one thing (aggressive and romantic guys) BUT if you’re just a regular guy, they don’t want it from you. lol

I’ve noticed that women on this sight don’t speak up at these threads, must be too bust laughing at us.

(Note: I'm married, so I feel safe and it makes it easier for me to talk to women that would otherwise intimidate me. Yeah, women intimidate me! Make something of it!!:violent:)

You may be correct, but sprinters typically have much more fun than marathon runners !:)

I got an idea. Will the next fine lady of fitness.com either jump on here or start your own thread to settle this debate of nice guy vs. agressive and maybe help out some of the more curious or in need lads of the site ?

Hahha, I think I have a lot to work on before I actually meet someone, but I have a lot of speculation about it.

But honestly, I have yet heard about girls wanting a "normal" guy before. I quote normal because I don't think there's any such thing. Like I could be viewed as a "normal" guy, but deep inside, I just want to go ape crap and it takes a lot of strength to suppress it.

However, I have been looking to a lot of "women" magazines and stuff.... again don't ask... and it appears from my view that what women desire is this crazy man, but she wants to be the one who can control this, break this. I guess to make yourself desirable, you have to make yourself seem wild, uncontrollable, and "open." Then a woman is suppose to come in and control all that and they get all the credit for this. If you're already in this tame state, women don't desire it, because who would want to hang around a boring old person? I guess by being with another women, typically other women view this as a plus because it shows that you're willing to be "open" but perhaps she views herself as a person who rescues you from that broken relationship - even if it really isn't or going through a tough period.

A lot of women say they want a man who is stable, hard working, honest, and cares for her. A lot of men fit this bill, but yet it appears women want the opposite, and then attempt to do a 180 and reverse it to fit what they want.

Dallen in all seriousness, you just hit the nail on the head as far as my knowledge goes. And heres my proof, my wife, who was and is a "good girl" doesnt drink or smoke or even curse or nothin told me a long time ago. She said she liked me and fell for me cause I was a bad boy, that was her words to me after we knew eachother for awhile. Now, being married, she credits herself with calming me and making me a better person. I dont know how many times she has said, Johnny, if you didnt meet me, ya'd probably be dead or in jail. Now weather shes right or not i dont know. But what im gettin at is what you just summed up in your message. So those mags you are readin are correct. At least in my case.
