A new NO product.

I almost ran out of naNO-vapor which is ok for skitsing me up in the gym and for that extra bit of energy. I know everyone thinks they do jack **** when it comes to gains but i some how dont think thats true. naNO vapor lasted me 3 months for 100 dollars and i think it helped my workouts allot. Ovyesly over creatine and protien powder and other supplements its stupid to buy. Any way i was thinking about buying another NO-supplement soon and was wondering what one i should try. Some suggestions would be cool or even something new that isent protien powder, creatine, NO, fishoil or multivitamins. thats pretty much everything i use at the moment.

There's the Vapor's main competitor of course, NO-Xplode. I find the Vapor a bit more effective, but I was on Vapor first, so perhaps my body was used to NO supplements by the time I got Xplode.

Honestly, SM, what did you get out of NO for your 100 bucks?

Honestly, would you be at the same place (all things considered equal) in your training without it?

I would rather have my brain PUMPED than my money DUMPED.

Seriously, my friend, what has it done for you?

Best regards,

Chillen

To answer your question, young man, no I havent tried it.

Have you done any type of research on these ingredients and the validity of the marketing hype?

I have an inherent mistrust for products like these, until it is adequately proven otherwise.

Best regards,

Chillen

Is it "possible" you are experincing a placebo effect?

I know muscle tech do the most research on there products then any other company but personal research of my own i have not done. naNO vapor is the only muscle tech product i have tried tho

s it "possible" you are experincing a placebo effect?

what does this mean?

I haven't used Nano Vapor but some of my friends have. They say that stuff is really powerful.

They say it gives them lots of extra energy and power.

It's definitely something you feel, even with a small dose.

The placebo effect is a measurable, observable, or felt improvement in health or behavior, not attributable to a medication or treatment that a person has been taking.

A placebo, as used in research, is an inactive substance or procedure used as a control in an experiment. A placebo effect occurs when the placebo, which cannot on its own merit have any affect, does in fact have the same or similar affect as the experimental substance or procedure.

For example: Your taking NO, and experinceing the urge to workout like an animal. Is this TRUELY from the NO or is really more FROM YOUR PASSION and DESIRE to SUCCEED in your goal--coupled with your proper diet (strictly eating).

The placebo effect is along these types of lines.

Best regards,

Chillen

What differences have you experienced after taking it as compared to when you were not taking it?

I mean in the physical sense. Did you get a noticable pump--more so--when you worked out as compared to when you didnt take it? If you were to remove this product, and save 100 bucks, do you think your gains will slow, and your passion to lift would diminish?

What are the degrees in which this is really helping you?

And, other questions along these lines, etc.

Some honest questions to ask yourself.

I am NOT trying to talk you out of this product, but rather make you think.

Best wishes,

Chillen

In plain English, a placebo effect is when you think something is going to have such and such an effect, that you mentally make it occur on it's own, even though the product itself does nothing. :D

This study investigated the combined effect of resistance exercise and arginine ingestion on spontaneous growth hormone (GH) release. Eight healthy male subjects were studied randomly on four separate occasions [placebo, arginine (Arg), placebo + exercise (Ex), arginine + exercise (Arg+Ex)]. Subjects had blood sampled every 10 min for 3.5 h. After baseline sampling (30 min), subjects ingested a 7-g dose of arginine or placebo (blinded, randomly assigned). On the exercise days, the subject performed 3 sets of 9 exercises, 10 repetitions at 80% one repetition maximum. Resting GH concentrations were similar on each study day. Integrated GH area under the curve was significantly higher on the Ex day (508.7 ± 169.6 min·ng/ml; P < 0.05) than on any of the other study days. Arg+Ex (260.5 ± 76.8 min·ng/ml) resulted in a greater response than the placebo day but not significantly greater than the Arg day. The GH half-life and half duration were not influenced by the stimulus administered. The GH secretory burst mass was larger, but not significantly, on the Arg, Ex, and Arg+Ex day than the placebo day. Endogenous GH production rate (Ex > Arg+Ex > Arg > placebo) was greater on the Ex and Arg+Ex day than on the placebo day (P < 0.05) but there were no differences between the Ex and Arg+Ex day. Oral arginine alone (7 g) stimulated GH release, but a greater GH response was seen with exercise alone. The combined effect of arginine before exercise attenuates the GH response. Autonegative feedback possibly causes a refractory period such that when the two stimuli are presented there will be suppression of the somatotrope.

Oh yes in a way i think it is like this :) it does make a diference in pumps thats for sure and i just seem to be able to workout longer with it...i have used it for a week and then not used it for 2 weeks and when i took it i just had more energy to get that last little bit out. But yeah at the same time just knowing that i am using it also gives me more reason to really push myself lol

How about a cup of black coffee?

gives you the same stimulation without costing $33.33 a month.

BECAUSE NO2 DOES NOTHING!

seriously, if I see another "which NO2 product is the best?" thread, I'm just going to lock it.

Malkore, must step back from the coffee and breathe :) HEHHE.

Ah, thats better. :p

Even if it does give some 'extra energy' i don't see it being worth 100 dollars. Thats money I would put toward a **** load of tuna to keep my protein intake up for a long time.

It must suck to only be able to workout hard and get a good pump by using a ****ty NO2 supplement.

I guess in 10 years we'll all know for sure how bad it can mess up natural HGH production, and whether it has negative long term effects on the liver, kidneys, heart, etc.

Good on you for going out of your way to make me dislike you even more :D the first link is about celltech which is creatine and some others about protien powder which has nothing to do with NO???

Stop wasting your time even talking to me.

Thanks.
