A new life

I forgot Slipknot, Chevelle, The Bouncing souls, Allister, Alkaline Trio, Stereomud and Korn.

There is another band, a bit more....well...not like the others.....more "alternative".... You either like them or hate them.....But if you can listen to something completely different, there is always ....

or You could always get a Lewis Black album....he's pretty entertaining ....lol

Wtf do they have the guy from Flight of The Concords in their band?



I guess they sound okay. I heard some reggae beats and chords in Cool Me Down but the tempo is different

I do like Chevelle a lot. I'll look into some of those other bands. I've really had this recent revival of my old love for punk and punk-influenced music.

I get my tat work on August 11th at 12:30pm.

LOL, that's funny, some of them are old punk bands....of course there are still the bands like Gang of Four, Violent Femmes, etc....Lots of great old music out there...

OOOOooooOoohhhhh, what tat??? What are you getting??? I got a little gecko on my trip a couple of weeks ago, but still have plans for a big back piece.....

That's funny. I used to love Violent Femmes. I had that phase where I really liked them and Screaming Trees. All the sudden I want to listen to "Girlfriend" by Matthew Sweet.

It'll be on my right lower leg. I already have an anchor started there. The tattoo artist is going to redo the black on it, even out the lines, add in a couple details to make it really stand out as an anchor and add in some greys and slight blues. He's adding a tribal shark just above the outer right ankle and inner right ankle. On the inner side of the lower right leg, he's putting in a fairly large trident. And then start above the anchor, he's going to script Morgan going across like a band that should just about wrap around the leg. I'll take some pics. I wanted to get it done tomorrow, but he's so freakin booked up.

I have always been into listening to all sorts of music. Back in the day (lol, when I was younger) I frequented places like The Fab Mab [i.e. The Fabulous Mabuhay Gardens], The Fillmore, I-Beam, The Savoy, and numerous other places where the bands would play. I can't even begin to tell you who all I saw "in concert"......lol It seems like those venues don't exist anymore. :(

Would love to see them! Sounds like you will have quite a nautical theme going on there :)

I decided on the Japanese style for my back. The main piece will be a giant crane....:D
