Yeah wiki is not a good source at all. Theres some good journal articles on website like

Much more reputable and then you can quote them.

Who? What?

i mean cum'on, you would also aprecciatley find articles that find those who have low fat diets are also healthier.

Obviously higher amounts of carbs ecspecially simple refined sugars arnt going to be crash hot. Lets not forget the large amounts of variables that exist many of which are uncontrollable....

Thats why you have so much uncertainty whether particular foods are directly linked to cancer and if so to what degree, thats why its all "thought to be"....etc

How old are you, 16? You've been using wiki for what, a year? Even so if you have no prior knowledge of a topic and are going to wikipedia for information, how would you know it was false or true if you dont know about the topic?

Wikipedia wasnt allowed as a source in my classes because it is not credible.

18, and 4-5 years. Citing wikipedia is not permitted in my classes either but I still use it. I have enough trust in the wiki system..thats just me.

Grams for grams, 1 gram of protein provides 4 calories, and 1 gram of carbs provides 4 calories. Fat provides double at 9 calories per gram.

Strictly speaking, eating purely protien will be the same as eating purely carbs.

As for cutting it out of your diet? A big no no. First off, carbs are the body's primary energy source. By fueling your body with protein, you're asking to feeling tired and down most of the time. Also, tissue and other vital organs in your body require carbs to rebuild itself.

Ask Dr. Atkins who died of a massive heart attack (I didn't know until CCR said something one day). Why? Some say it's because he's genetically predeposed to have one... other people, which I believe, is because his diet lacked carbs.

On low carb/keto diets you're not fueling your body with protein, you're fueling it with fat. And you do take regular amounts of carbs, some each day, and carb loading days where you get "normal" amount of carbs.

Not true, it can be edited by anyone in the entire world. So if they put in something that the editors of wikipedia don't know about it just slips by, meaning that a whole lot of information on wikipedia can be false.

Yes, it can be false. But so can any source. I heard a documentary about wikipedia where they quoted some research that showed that major paper encyclopedias have about the same amount of errors as wikipedia.

In general, wikipedia shows a high degree of accuracy. But as with any source, you shouldn't rely on just that source alone.
