I totally understand why they can't ship the prize outside of North America. International shipping in NA is ridiculously expensive! So I'm not in for the prize either but wouldn't get it anyway!

Ok, so tomorrow is friday (weigh in day!!! YAY!) and the weekly challenges begin! I like members of the forum to feel as involved as possible, so I decided that every week I'll let one member decide that weeks mini-challenge!

Now, it does have to be a challenge everyone can do..ex. 'who can drink the most water'.... good...'who can do the most bench presses"... bad, lol just b/c not everyone has access to a gym or equipment to do that.

So, the next person to post and accept to take the challenge, gets it!
 
1 week mini challenges are hard to create unless you are just doing lbs lost. We could do most inches off our problem area, for men usuallly our bellies and women either bellies or hips depending on whether they are apple or pair shaped. However, that is hard to do in one week because no matter how big you are it is hard to lose inches off one measurement in only one week. We'd have to count centimeters or maybe even millimeters and that could get kind of rediculous. I could see it working over the stretch of a few weeks.
 
Maybe a challenge to do bench presses? I need more motivation to do those! But I'm not sure that everyone here has access to do that. How about drinking 1/2 your weight in oz of water a day? Umm.... how about to get out and WALK for 30 minutes a day? And from the challenges we will get points???
 
i dunno, i personally think that adding bonus points and such just makes things complicated, don't you?? i'm in school right now and I just wanted to run a smooth, simple challenge.

Also, as i mentioned above, not everyone has access to gym equipment where we can do bench presses, so thats probably not gonna work for a mini-challenge.

I liked the water idea or the walking idea! everyone can do that! Pick one, your the "mini-challenge member" this week!
 
I lost, you guys! I really wasn't expecting to, and it was a pound, but I'm happy to say goodbye to it. Woohoo! :)

I like the water idea -- I've been so bad with not drinking enough lately!

I hope everyone else lost, too. And if not, don't worry, there's always another week :)
 
ok, so thats 3 of us that like the water idea...lets just go with that! Tomorrow start counting your water!! the one w/ the most water drank wins bragging rights!!
 
You've all just made me realise I've hardly drunk any water today! And I've been working really hard in the garden. I'm ssoooo thirsty.
