Sheesh, I even think about eating 4000 calories and I gain weight.

I'm not sure I follow, but 1-2 lbs a week is what I was shooting for. I started out at 180 so all told I've put on 7 lbs. I want to put on muscle slowly while gaining minimal fat which I believe I have. I have no reliable scientific way top measure BF% but my camera and waist measurements tell me I've put on no discernible fat. My upper arms have grown 1/4 inch and all my lifts are increasingYou have gained about 3 pounds in about 15 days, with your current calorie consumption/training trend.
You are working on 1 1/2 pounds per week average (or close thereto) with this trend.
How is the weight being put on? How is the fat to muscle ratio like? How is this "thundering?!"
What is this telling you?
Best wishes
