Sport 5 tbsp of Nat P-nutbutter a day?

Sport Fitness
Me first...................

2 tbls= about 200c (approximately -/+ 10 or so)

Therefore 4=400c and 5 about 500 in calories. (about 40g of good fats)

Nothing wrong with Natty PB. What is your Protein and carbs like?

I am absolutely a Natty Peanut Butter Lover........A major weakness, but its one that fits good, lol, and I can control it very well.

Deskilla is the peanut butter Killa gorrilla! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!

3000c, 105g fat, 301g carbs, 227.5g protein -- 40%,30%,30%. bulking, or atleast trying to (first time ive ever bulked before.)

5 teaspoons a day sounds unhealthy to me.

Good thing he said tablespoons then.

Just because most people eat skippy peanut butter, or some other commercial one. Which is loaded with bad oils, and just bad stuff.

Sure, it has good fats. but 16g of fat, even healthy fat, sounds too much for me in one serving.

Your first post would have been better if you took 20 seconds to add these two sentences so that we could have avoided the assumptions.

However, to the OP, if it fits in your plan and you're seeing results, stick with it. Too many people cut out fat IMO.

I love natural peanut butter!! Like Chillen & Protein Boy, I could very easily eat too much of this stuff and have to be very strict with myself! I have one spoonful a day and thats it. It is always in the evening and I look at it as my treat for being disciplined throughout the day (it also fits into my macros quite nicely!)

One is all I can handle without over-indulging but, if 5tbl spoons fits your diet and works, simply sit back and enjoy :D

I agree, you need a decent level of fat intake for healthy testosterone production

I've been reading 30% for healthy testosterone production, and that's what I've been shooting for and get it mostly from nuts, as well as olive oil, fish oil, seeds. I'm eating at least 5 tblspns of nuts/nut butter and have been for almost a year.

One good use for natty pb comes complements of protein boy, but if you mix some chocolate whey protein, peanut butter, and some water or milk, and microwave it for 30 seconds you get a little cake like "dessert" that is great before bed.

Chris, where do you get most of your fats from and what's your ratio?

Apart from my peanut butter and the incidental fat in milk, muesli & the rest of my food, I get my fats from flaxseed oil caps, olive oil and fish (when I'm having a break from chicken). My ratio is around 30%

I have a secret (sticks tongue out)......hehehee and its a healthy version of: Natural Peanut Butter Pie...........HEHEHEHE:)
