10 favorite thinkers/geniuses

ManLondon, you're pretty much as ignorant as the next guy on Buddhism if you can't even aknowledge what I've said. I don't give a **** how many books you've read, or how long Buddhism has been around.

1.) You're not someone who has "been reading, following, practising, meditating and teaching something for hundreds of years".
2.) You are avoiding facing the real argument
3.) Your claims are fallicious

And I conclude you're too arrogant and you have too much ego to face me and lose some face yourself. At this same time, it shows how hypocritical it is to call yourself Buddhist. That, or you have a LONG ways to go (on the Eight Fold Path...I'm sure you've come across this in your books). If indeed you've been "reading, following, practising, meditating and teaching something for hundreds of years," I'd say you've got maybe 5 or 6 more millenia to go.

Of course, look at me. How what a bad Buddhist I am to be calling you on your bull****.

But I will show some modesty:

I don't think I am a super-genius at all. Nah, I'm just smarter than you are, and that's not much of a feat.

LeiYunFat, my apologies, if you felt bad. I did not start it to cause any issues. I responded to your list because I thought you posted it without realising that you were listing the same person twice.

I noticed, in your profile that you are in teens. I should be more compassionate towards you. My sincere, really sincere wishes to you for your adulthood.

Peace!

Your shrewdness is impressive, despite the fact you responded based on your assumption that you, in your superior studies, ought to show off. The rest of your replies were you trying to make yourself look higher than me. I'm pretty much the manliest teen you'll ever meet, so feel free and let loose.

Coz I am Buddhist thats why I was surprised to find him twice in your list.
We Buddhists donot refer to him as two different people. We know that he attained enlightment and became awakened. We treat him as one person not two.

Anway, peace!

Actually, I'm a buddhist myself. As far as I and Monks I've spoken to on my martial/ buddhist research pilgrimages though China and elsewhere around the world are concerened, there are many different types of buddha... 5 in fact ..

As LeiYunFat explained to you, Buddha literally translated means "enlightened one"... and there are various buddha natures that are the result of being awakened via different paths and twd different specific aspects of humanity..
Siddhartha was one of the men who became enlightened to be a buddha via a particluar path ..

buddha nature can be found in the root of manny many great thinkers and may even define one...

lol.. can I list "buddha nature " here as my own???..or how about a person that pursues it??..

cheers and amitabah back atchyas ;).
