So, the mayans were ignorant for not having the wheel. Did the mayans have contact with anyone who invented it? I dont think the internet was around back then. So then they would have had to invent it themselves, and it would have been a "new" invention.

The ancient Egyptians had no contact with ancient China, yet amazingly, both civilizations had wheels. Even more shocking, both civilizations used beasts of burden. Also astounding but true, both civilizations realized that animals could be used to bear loads and perform other labor.

OK. So what, of note, did the Mayans accomplish? Couldn't very well be nothing could it? Are the wheel and beasts of burden the only credible accomplishments?

I suspect most people you know wipe their anuses after defecating, and disregard the feces of themselves and others. However, assuming what you say is true, that probably says more about the company you chose to keep than your cleanly wonderdog.

They did a number of nifty things. However, Moonbeam claimed that they were one of the smartest civilizations ever, but has not bothered to tell us why. I have explained why I disagree.

Im in A student in Math,but I can't understand or learn a lick of spanish. Are you going to call me unintelligent because i don't know spanish, but excel in other subjects. Maybe mayan's were a students in astronomy, but couldn't understand how a wheel worked. Why base someones knowledge on one subjecet. Maybe they didn't want or need a wheel.
