inverse leg raise....

you know, where instead of bracing your torso and holding your legs up, you brace your legs and hold your torsso up, like a couple inches from the ground.

Is this an effective exercise? I tried it a couple times and man it burns!!!!

Is it where you lean forward and raise your self up? like a back excersize?
 
i beleive he is talking about PLANKS. The core excersice.

Well for planks your holding yourself out striaght and your belly down.

This is like a sit up, just you hold a few inches from the ground instead of going all the way up and then all the way down.
