HIIT did not happen today. It rained all day long and I won't workout while it rains. So I am going to try it tomorrow after work.

I am having a hard time on the weekend -- motivation is NOT there...Healthy eating is not on the agenda either. I want to eat all day long and not very healthy either and have no energy to work out.

Tomorrow is another day and hopefully it will be much better than today!!!
 
Hey - just wanted to let you know that I am completely with you about the weekends. I am the same exact way. I have no motivation to eat well and I want to eat all the time. Last Sunday, however, I was able to eat pretty well, I think.....if I remember correctly....lol Anyway, just wanted you to know that you are not alone....we've all been there....some of us are STILL there. :p

I second that. I'm still there but it will take time. It will take baby steps but you'll get it.

Thanks! It is nice to know I am not alone. I REALLY need to find some motivation on the weekends...I have a 16 year old nephew and his 16 year old friend coming and I really need to keep up with them..or better yet, I want them to try and keep up with me! :p

BTW, I was at 1700 cals today -- 200 over my "goal"...

Don't stress over the cals too much. It's good to keep the body guessing. Music is my motivation. Once I put it on..I'm good to go until I get my stuff done(plus I don't care that the windows are open and I can't carry a tune in a bucket....:D).

My stepson is 17 and he blades and works on his computer. Sorry I can't help you much with your nephew and his friend.

Thanks Nae82...I'll do my best to assist in motivating 2hott4u...that does help me get motivated knowing I have someone who "counts" on me to do something...whether it is in person or not.

Yah, these boys are coming for a soccer camp and then want to see the sights of the "big city" --- so I know I have a lot of walking to do over the entire month of July...oh man!!!
 
There you go, you'll get some exercise. Is there a place around that you can take some aerobic classes? Do some tapes at home either in the morning or before bed. If you need help with those, ask LivefromNY, she's the tape queen...:D

OH yah, I have lots of choices for exercise at our local rec center we belong to. I was signed up for boot camp and doing step aerobics --- long story short, my husband is doing my boot camp classes due to a car accident I had so I am doing step aerobic 2x per week and started a spin class once a week. But three days a week of exercising just doesn't seem enough and I probably need to start some weight training in there as well.

Oh and I have an exercse ball at home along with a resistance band and some dumbells ( 5 lbs and 15 lbs).

So that is kind of where I am at. I need to increase the amount of exercise I do. Once I do then hopefully I'll have more motivation for keeping with a healthy diet at least 6 days a week...

I will keep LivefromNY in mind if I don't start doing more at home on those days I don't get to go to the gym.

Right there with ya, sweet pea!! How did your food intake go today...I didn't see a post...did I miss it??

I am just getting a chance to post today!

Food intake -- good at 1475 calories.

Work out -- good actually tried the HIIT or maybe a modified version of it?
I did the eliptical/ cross trainer today...

5 minutes warm up at 40 rpm
1 minute at 75 - 80 rpm then 2 minutes at 55 - 60 rpm for about 7 minutes
30 seconds at 72 rpm then 1 min 30 sec at 55 - 60 rpm for 8 minutes
5 minute cool down at 45 rpm

I was so tired by the time I got done -- I shot for 30 minutes total to include the warm up/ cool down but was 5 minutes shy...

then I did some core training with crunches/ push ups/ and dips.

All in all a good day!

Had a pretty good day today. did 45 Min of spinning -- and a hard workout it was...

Had 1671 calories today. Just slightly above what I shoot for but still pretty good.

All around good day! Now I have to ensure I work out tomorrow. I am trying to do at least 4- 5 days per week...
 
It will get less difficult eventually - just stick with it. There will come a day when you suddenly realize it's not quite as difficult as it was before. (Then you'll have to turn up the resistance more lol).
