First Diary Ever

Yah I did have more resistance yesterday than the time before...ugh! It was a good workout but hard.

So today is not the best day I guess. Diet wise it is pretty good so far.

1436 Cals
36% Fat
40% Carbs
24% Protein

I might have another snack...

Exercise: I have workers at home so I haven't been able to workout so I don't know if I'll get one in today!! And tomorrow I am really hoping to get one in since I didn't get to it today!

I am at least going to try and do some core training (abs, push ups, work with the big ball thing...)
 
You are doing great! Keep it up! What is your motivation for the next few days??? I have new motivation: a new......smokin hott....mouth watering.....gorgeous...lickable....picture of Josh. (where is that damn drooling emoticon when you need it??? LOL) :p

Hey Beemss, good job on staying in target with your cals. One suggestion is to try to switch your fat and protein percentages and to slightly lower your carbs so that it reads Protein: 40% Carbs/fats: 30% each.

I know it's easier said than done. Try squeezing in some hard boiled egg whites for breakfast and some cottage cheese for your #1 snack. Also you can look into some (powdered) whey to add to your oatmeal...

Thanks for the advice. I am trying to increase my protein, my problem is I don't know of enough protein sources that I like. Unfortunately eggs and cottage cheese are not appetizing to me. But I like the whey powdered idea for oatmeal -- I'll go and get some this weekend. any suggestions on a brand? I'll keep looking for more protein sources. Chicken is really high in protein and I like it -- so that is a plus! Had some tonight!

So tonight I had an OK day. Work is really taking the life out of me and so is forgetting to take my synthroid. OOPS!!

But I managed to get in 1390 cals (little less than I would like):

27% Fat
26% Protein
47% Carbs

Breakfast -- oatmeal and peanut butter
Snack -- yogurt
Lunch-- Lean Cuisine Ravioli and raw veggies
Snack -- almonds (about 20)
Dinner: Chicken/ cucumbers/ grapes

I then went and jumped some rope today and did some sprints up our driveway.

BIG POSITIVE for today is: 2 lbs loss so far!!!

For whey protein, just visit a nutritional store and look for something that has a high protein count--high teens/low 20's is good, mine I believe has 19 grams of protein per serving, lots of vitamins and decent calories (under 150).

I have looked at his list previously and have incorporated some of the protein sources in our diet, i.e. ground turkey, increased chicken.

My goal next week is to have at least one day over 35% protein and maintain 30% protein the rest of the week. Try to work my way up!
 
Today was a really bad day! Nothing that I want to post on this because calories were 1088 and no exercise because I am totally exhausted from work and probably from not having enough calories/ protein...

MOTIVATION this weekend is to keep the 2 lbs off, run and play at the park with kids, and exercise!

Boot camp on Saturday and something (maybe HIIT) on Sunday!

Don't worry about the day. It's ok. At least you didnt' go over!! Unfortunately, when I have days that are like today for you, I get excited! LOL I tend to feel better about myself! LOL But then again, I'm messed up, so don't listen to me. LOL
