Food intake

Breakfast - 1 biscuit (100), .5 cup gravy (272), 2 glasses milk (120) = 612

Snack - 1.5 cup salad (15), 1/4 c cheese (110), 2 tbsp ff french dressing (50) = 175

Supper - roast/potato/greenbeans (300)???, corn cob (100), 1tbsp butter (30) = 430

Grand total = 1217

I really don't know how many calories supper really was, so I guessed it.
 
Talk to Shellsy, she just got a new sports bra.
 
Day 1

Today is the start of my comeback. I've got my motovaition back, so here I go. I've decided to weigh myself every morning and get a average at the end of the week or at least I'll know what my range of weight is.

Day 1- 184

Not upset but not happy either, but you gotta start somewhere.

Off to workout, so I'll post them when I get done.
 
Day 1 - Workout

This was the first day back and I think I did ok, but may have used too much weight on one workout and not enough on another. I started with the 3nd lightest of pounds, except for the Upper Rows, with the 2nd lightest.We'll see how Wednesday goes to see if I can change that.

I believe my upper row was too light. Might need to up that to the next highest weight.
 
Good to see you're working out again - keep it up. They say it takes 3 weeks for a habit to form. You've got 20 days to go :)

One day at a time right? Congrats on the return to working out, it sometimes it's hard to stay motivated and put the time in. I am DEFINATELY guilty of that one! Don't worry about the 20 days, just try to be a little active every day, I am a firm believer in "every little effort adds up". I just try to walk a little more than yesterday or do one more squat (even if it only makes 3 total). I just keep thinking, it doesn't have to be all or nothing, you know? Keep your chin up and just try to make one good decision at a time and you will create your own good habits.;)
 
Thanks dear..a little exercise every day will defintely add up. I wanted to get out for some cardio, but I was busy all afternoon, so I don't think I will get it done tonight.
 
Today I had a busy afternoon. After I worked out this morning, I did the dishes and bought some eggs from a local farmer. They are $1/dz, so we end up buying 4 or 5 at a time. I came home and my aunt called and wanted me to come over and clean up her computer. She fed me lunch and colored my hair in return for what I did. Whoo Hoo! My hair needed colored anyway.

Snack - 3 scambled eggs (225), oatmeal (120) = 355

Lunch - Asian salad w/grilled chicken (290), light sesame ginger dressing (90) = 380

Supper - 2 tbsp oil (240), 1 tbsp mayo (70), 2z steak sandwich (180), 1 white bun (110), .5 cottage cheese (90) = 690

Grand total = 1665

Total calories I needed was 2500, so take 500 away for 1lb/wk or 1000 away for 2lb/wk loss. I figured 2000/day would be easier to meet at first and then work my way down to 1500.

Lunch was at McDonald's, so I figured the salad would be better than a value meal. I was surprised I turned down a burger/fries:eek:. Go me, Go me, Whoo-Hoo.
 
Good job on the Asian Salad:) You rock girl! I know that's a tough choice - I failed today at Burger King....but it wasn't worth it - you definitely made the right choice. It sounds like you are doing great:)

Thank you very much. I was so proud of myself. BTW, if you go on BK website, you can customize your meal depending on the calories or whatnot. I think that is so cool. That is the only fast food restaurant that I know of that will let you do that. You should check it out next time before you go.
 
Edit to my food:

1 cup air popcorn but only .5 popped = 11.5

Last night wasn't the greatest. I made supper and Ash wouldn't tell me what she did w/her sandwich that she didn't eat. I told her to go find it but she kept telling me that she couldn't. She finally told me she ate, but I don't know because it was on a hotdog bun and she was only in the other room for couple minutes. Maybe it's possible she stuffed it down her throat, but I don't think so.

Then she wanted some pretzels that I bought from the store, so I said sure. She took the bag and went outside. When she came back in, the whole back was gone:eek: :eek: :eek: She said when she opened it, they all fell out. I didn't even get any pretzels.:(

I know she's 5, but I really wanted my pretzels!!
