Using an exercise band or tube, this is a good exercise that strenghtens and tones the triceps.
Instructions
- Stand straight with your feet together and the band behind your back. Your left hand should be grasping the middle of the band near your waist, and your right hand should be grasping a handle somewhere around your ear.
- Exhale and pull your right hand straight up bending at the elbow. Hold for 2-3 seconds and release. For extra challenge you can flex the triceps at the top for the 2-3 hold, which will help activate deeper muscle fibers.
- Do 10-12 reps to complete this exercise.
