Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi)


A non-common spice that is used mostly in Central Asia and Northern India.

Common Uses

This particular spice is great when enhanced by toasting or frying, and goes well with potatoes or fish. In Asia and India it is commonly found mixed with butter and fried over lentils and beans which provides an excellent source of protein.
