Pear Apple Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, chopped
  • 2 medium Bartlett pears, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

Instruction

  1. COOK and stir onion in hot oil in large skillet until onion is tender.
  2. ADD remaining ingredients; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
