Ingredients
- 12 ounces cranberries
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- *for extra flavor use only 3/4 cup orange juice and add 1/4 cup of Grand Marnier right after the sauce is finished cooking
Instruction
- In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice.
- Stir in the cranberries and cook about 10 minutes, until the cranberries start to pop. (if you prefer the sauce thicker, cook a little bit longer and mash the sauce a little bit)
- Remove from heat and place sauce in a bowl. Place in fridge to cool (cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools).
