ZMA and timing

ive recently got myself some ZMAgenin. I just want to see if it can help me sleep better. Now i have my last meal, boiled eggs at 9:30, i take the pills at 10:30 and im in bed at 11:00.

Thing is, eggs contain calcium, and ive heard that calcium inhibits one of the minerals in ZMA, so if you eat calcium before you take the pills, you'r pretty much wasting them. Theres gotta be a "time limit" towards how long before you take the pills that you CAN eat calcium without having it affect the uptake of one of those minnerals (i forgot which one).

What should i do? find something else to eat, move the last meal closer to bedtime and take the pills before i eat the eggs? or what?
 
calcium inhibits zinc absorption.

but you're not eating enough eggs to get enough calcium for it to matter.

so don't sweat it.
 
right. you'd wanna avoid taking your ZMA with a glass of milk, or cottage cheese...that'd be enough calcium to screw with you.

also, if you take ZMA 15 mins before eating, it'd pass through the gut quickly enough that calcium intake in the meal wouldn't matter either.
 
I take my multi in the morning because I know it would probably be enough calcium to mess with my ZMA. I genereally have ZMA a little while after my last meal with some water. So far I haven't had a problem. :)
 
It's only like a 15-25% absorption inhibition..
