Hello, I currently do cardio 30-35 mins, 3-5 times a week on either a treadmill or eliptical at a moderate pace. I have tried a hiit program before (5 minute warmup, 30 second burst, 30 second slow pace for 12-15 cycles). That routine really killed me, and I ended up going back to my normal routine within a month.
I saw in another post that you reccomend cycles of 4 minute slow/moderate pace followed by 30 sec burst. This sounds more like something I can handle. Does it have the effect of getting that metabolism going and burning cals even after exercise is finished? How long would you reccomend doing this 20-30 minutes? Thanks in advance.
