Your Biggest Fear

Since it's almost Halloween, I thought it would be fun, or at least interesting, to see what people fear the most....

Me... I HATE clowns!!!! I saw "IT" when I was seven, and haven't liked them since!!! Irrational... yes, but I think they should be banned!

I don't really have a fear of a material type thing. I have a huge fear of not being successful in life and not living up to my family's expectations.

'IT' is one of my favourite films ever!!! Clowns certainly freak me out, but I wouldnt say im scared of em..

For me its SPIDERS!!! I feel physically shaken and start sweating when Im around them!!!

No good with heights either :puke:

I'm not scared of them either... I just want to hit them with a baseball bat is all!!

People say violence solves nothing, but im pretty sure that would resolve most peoples phobias of clowns:reddevil:

But lets hope you dont come across any clowns this Halloween, especially if you decide to dress up as a Baseball player ;)

My fear is bees. its embarrassing because i always scream and run when i see them...im not even allergic.

I also just hate chicken bones. haha it sounds stupid but they gross me out. so i never eat chicken off the bone. :blush5:

Um... I really like peanut butter... its both nutritionally dense and goes great with apples, but I don't know what that has to do with fears... I kinda feel like you're poking fun at me...

No, I'm not poking fun at you... sometimes my sarcasm doesn't come accross so well via posts!! I just followed the link that mal posted here to phobias, and that was one of the phobias... fear of Peanut Butter! Just thought that was a funny "item" to be affraid of. I understand you on your "fears". Those are heavy issues that carry heavy weight in many peoples lives.

I'm afraid of ghosts, spirits, whatever you want to call them.

I'm also afraid of swimming in water that I can't see through.

I also can't stand clowns, ever since seeing "IT" as well. They are freaky and ugly! So is Ronald McDonald. lol

Speaking of freaky Ronald McDonald, my avatar on another forum is a picture of Ronald smiling with text saying "I'm thinking about eating you."

*edit* I deleted the picture just incase people really did have a true clown phobia.

My main fear is of shipwrecks, of all things. I love water, love swimming, love being on ships, but just seeing a shipwreck on TV makes me go sweaty, short of breath, and my heart starts racing like crazy. Watching Titanic was torture, especially the first bits.

I am also highly arachnophobic, I don't scream or anything when I see spiders, I just see them, my heartrate goes up, I stop breathing, and pass out. Not fun! *pout*

Swimming in water where I can't see what's on the bottom is another thing, but I think that goes hand in hand with the shipwrecks. I refuse to set foot into any type of ocean, because I just KNOW that somewhere out there is a shipwreck just waiting for me!

And I am not the biggest fan of clowns either, thanks to Stephen King....*lol*

What do you think about the book (not the movie) A Perfect Storm. Now that's something that really puts you there. :willy_nilly:

I dnt like cotton balls. I'm not scared of them, but it makes me cringe to touch them and use them. And I will avoid doing ANYTHING that may result in someone sticking cotton balls in my mouth. (getting wisdom teeth out, etc)

Highways. I have an irrational fear of driving on highways.

and Oceans. I REFUSE to go in or get near oceans. I'm terrified of under currents, weird sealife I can't see, and large bodies of water.

There are probably a billion more things I could add, but it'd take forever and requires a bit too much thought.

I fear that the sun won't rise tomorrow.
