Sport Yogurt???

Sport Fitness
What's the story with yogurt?? Good for you or not. I notice that there are alot of chemicals involved. Maybe plain yogurt? Is better. Which brand is recommended?

Thanks TP

very good. i just added yogurt back into my meal plan this weekend. i got the plain one, no added junk. heres a good link someone posted on another board

When buying joghurt, definitely get the plain kind - the flavoured joghurts have a lot of added sugars. To sweeten the plain joghurt, add some honey or some berries. Even grapes are tasty in joghurt.

I will usually add some yogurt to my shakes to give them some thickness to it. Anyone esle do that or should I not

i was thinking of doing that too. right now i'm doing 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of yogurt with some cinammon and davinci syrup

For those of you who know your yogurt. What brand of yogurt to you guys have. Lol because i just went to costco and they i saw "Yoplait" and i dont think it's good. It says fat free. But it has 27 grams of sugar.
20% calcium.

what exact brand is good?

and the ingredients

i know those hood yogurts are high in protein and low in carbs but i havent seen any with those kind of numbers

i too believe plain yogurt with fruit is the way to go, brand doesnt really matter, IMO. but definitely stay away from those fruit flavored ones, they are HIGH in sugars.

go for the fat free yogurt, and look for ones sweetened with Splenda rather than sugar. You'll still get some sugar carbs from the lactose, but you're talking about 6grams instead of 26grams.
If your diet is clean, 6g of lactose is insignificant.

If your diet is clean, it shouldn't include joghurt.
