I love yoga personally. Ever since I've been practicing it for the past 18+ months, I have gone from sleeping with 2 pillows underneath my neck to ZERO. Guessing it might be either working out or Yoga but the spine might be straighting out. Yes, yoga improve posture as well.

As for Henry's reply, to each their own. I mean Yoga is more difficult for me then hiking 3 miles up hill or jogging at 6.5 mph on threadmill or working out. That is the beauty of yoga, you "relax" your way into the poses but you should be working your ass off. Most of the time, when I am done with 1 hour of yoga; my shirt is completely soaked ( and that is not even doing bikram yoga just astanga). If you are feeling tender / weak, then you dont' push as hard and still get most of the benefit of yoga... Yoga is isometric workout to compliment the weight training / cardio which is movement based.
 
You know my gym has 3 yoga classes a week from 12-1. I’m in the gym at 11 and out by 12:15ish, then off to eat at my desk. I’ve always wanted to join in the yoga class but if I went to the gym from 12-1 to just do the yoga class the boss would notice me eating at 1:30 and take more of an interest in the time spent away at the gym.
