Is yoga very good for weight loss? or does it just mainly focus on flexibility and strength? I have been contemplating substituting yoga for one or two of my cardio sessions, is this a bad idea?
yoga does have some weight loss benefits and does have techniques to help weight loss
it is important to select the appropriate exercises to aid your goal of weight loss
however it is slow to show any results and any benefits are mostly long term
it is a good addition to your already existing workout since it relaxes tensed muscles, aids recovery and helps in optimal and overall functioning of the organs in the body
i alway felt lite on my body and a certain energetic feeling after every class
if you can stick to yoga for say 3 to 4 years you could see dramatic results in your body. that where most people fall off- unable to stick to it
