Honestly, I'm not really all that familiar with cyclones, being from Ohio. From what I just read on google, they seem to be a sort of cross between a hurricane and a tornado.
Any thoughts on this?
they are the same as a hurricane, different names in different regions same type of storm. This one covered an area almost the size of the US as it approached the coast at Category 5, no deaths from this one but we are only half way through the cyclone season.
