Well, I've been dieting for 2 months and still trying to fine-tune things. I cheat a lot, but somehow I've managed to lose 12 pounds! I've been eating tons of fiber (about 40+ grams a day) which has to be one of the things that is helping me. I also don't eat anything except egg whites (pure protein) 6 hours before bedtime. I can do this because I'm currently working third shift, so I don't eat any meals past 2a.m. This is what I ate today:

1 orange
fiber-one
4 egg whites
2 bologna/cheese sandwiches (naughty)
1 piece broasted chicken w/o skin
potato wedges
raspberries/light whipped cream
yogurt
[6g fiber] pasta 1 1/2 servings with light alfredo sauce
2 servings peas
1 serving peaches/apples/cherries/pineapple

I'll probably have some more fiber-one and something else tonight, and then some egg whites at about 4a.m. I walked 1 mile today (not much, but at least it's something!)

Any comments or concerns? I think I'm doing things right.
 
I can't offer advice, cuz I am new at this......but welcome and good luck!

I feel really good!!! I'm down another pound today. 13 down, 98 to go! I just bought these 85 dollar saucony running shoes that have special arch support because I have virtually none :( I walked for 3.25 miles today and am not aching for once....They are so comfortable. One thing I'm worried about is having excess skin after I lose all the weight :confused: Anyways, I'll post what I ate today:

4 egg whites (pure protein)
whole wheat pasta (6 grams fiber!)
spaghetti sauce with lots of mushrooms in it
fiber one (14 grams fiber)
1 serving fruit
1 6 inch turkey sub from subway.....with very very light oil
grapes
2 hot pockets
1 light yogurt
and more fiber one
.....for a grand total of about 1800-1900 calories!
I'm drinking tons of water and attending overeaters anonymous weekly. Hope everyone is doing well. Good luck!
 
I too am worried about the extra skin! I have bad feet and my podiatrist recommends merrells and new balance 807 or asics 2050. Never tried the asics, but love the other 2. I don't have any arch either and one foot has fractured sesamoid bones.

Your doing great! Keep up the good work!
 
I lost another pound today for a total of 14! I'd like to put it on my ticker, but it doesn't appear with my posts anyways. Does anyone know how I can get it to appear rather than just seeing the link? Thanks!
 
Welcome! and congrats on the 14lbs thats awesome, so true a good pair of runners makes all the diffrence in the world!

And you are beautiful! Looks like you are doing a real good job. Losing a pound a day! Lucky you, some reason I am stuck and hovering around the same weight. blah.
I'll have to work harder.
